ABOUT THE EVENT

Humadyn invites you to join us November 6-8 at the world-famous Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee for the Humadyn Leadership Symposium (training). We’re bringing in high potential supervisors, managers and leaders to build their people skills.

Everyone’s watching the talent wars with an all-time low unemployment rate, but few are talking about how these trends affect current leadership.  Well, Humadyn is talking about it.  Actually, we aren't merely talking about it, we are offering a solution--which is to build the skills of your supervisors and managers so they can help the organization retain, leverage, and level-up their existing workforce.

Just about every sector and industry has seen significant growth in the past few years, but one fact remains - with a looming “retirement cliff,” many seasoned leaders are looking to retire in the next 5 years, leaving historic opportunities for new and current managers. Not only for personal advancement, but these managers will be a key to maximizing your workforce through leadership and coaching.

However, there is still a skills gap for many supervisors, managers and leaders.

Don’t believe it? In an industry-targeted survey, respondents with 5-30 years of experience said there are VERY FEW topics that they had been over-trained on. When asked, they shared the top 3 improvement areas they needed in their own careers; Humadyn used these responses to shape our content and curriculum.

SYMPOSIUM OVERVIEW

Renowned leader and author, Max Dupree once said "True leaders are sought after and cultivated."  The problem is, in the busy world of organizations, cultivating leadership is getting pushed to the sidelines.

But there's a bigger problem.  In the near future, leaders will be retiring by the droves and many organizations will get caught unprepared because they don't have a strong "leadership" bench.

Having recognized this problem, Humadyn Inc., a leader in soft skills and workplace dynamics, has stepped up to the plate to deliver solutions to this glaring problem.

We have designed a 2 1/2 day workshop symposium to help managers in manufacturing strengthen some of the most crucial skills needed from leaders at any level.

In this highly interactive and experiential workshop setting, attendees will gain the knowledge, skills and abilities that they can bring back to the work place and make a real difference. For instance they will learn to:

  • Develop a keen self-awareness so that they better understand themself, how they lead, and where they need to improve.

  • Influence employees by being a leader that they want to follow (one with competence and character).

  • Motivate employees--and even deal with the difficult ones--by communicating effectively.
  • Understand how to leverage coaching conversations to effectively grow their team.

  • Continuously grow as a leader by strengthening their commitment to their potential--and that of others.

  • And much more.

Further, we will set up participants for action:

  • Participants will solicit feedback from their "360" prior to the event--to which will be shaped into a specific leadership goal for them to pursue.

  • Day 3 will be dedicated to developing an action plan w/best and individual practices--to which participants will implement upon returning to their organization.

  • Participants will join a leadership "mastermind" group and forum for follow-on coaching, learning, and support for 3 months after the event.

Sign up now as seats will be limited to 26.
